#TransformationTuesday • Sadly we live in a society that glorifies skinny model bodies, thigh gaps and flat tummies. It is these things and more, that can cause females, especially young girls, to hate their bodies and develop eating disorders. We are labeled by a number on a scale. On the left, I weighed my heaviest - close to 160 lbs. On the right, I weighed 127 lbs. Swipe LEFT ⬅️for what I weigh today. 145 lbs! Beyond happy! Ha, it's crazy I can't believe I used to think anything over 130 lbs was fat. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I nearly killed myself trying to be "skinny." Listen, I will tell you firsthand...what's truly important is not the number on the scale and who gives a sh!t what society thinks - what is important is being healthy, and happy, because happy is one size fits all. No matter what size you are, that should not have an effect on how you see yourself because no matter what, you are beautiful. It does NOT matter how much you weigh. Unless, you're training or competing and are "forced" to make a weight class. Even, then, your "fight weight" doesn't define you. As long as you're happy and healthy, then it shouldn't matter what the number says when you step on a scale. With that said, reassess the people in your life. Over and over I'd find myself in relationships where they'd be more concerned about my looks and body shape than I was. F#ck that! The people in your life who genuinely love and care about you will love you if you're 100 lbs, 200 lbs, a size 0 or a size 16. Trust me, they will. At the end of the day, it's YOUR body that you were blessed with. Learn to LOVE it, take care of it, and f'n OWN it. It's the only one you've got! -

I usually don't like to post shirtless pictures while I'm bulking since my abs are hiding a little bit. But the weather is too damn nice.
This is all part of the process. Add good quality muscle and bulk, then when it comes time to compete, I'll cut down and see all the HARD earned muscle really show.

So here's a lower body dynamic warm up. Try this before your next leg day for some smooth training.
1.) SMR/ foam rolling quad- 1 minute each side
2.) SMR/ hip flexor roll out- 1 minute each side
3.) SMR/ glute medius roll out- 1 minute each side
4.) Inch worms- 12 reps
5.) Worlds greatest stretch- 15 reps each side
6.) Lunging hip flexor stretch- 15 reps each side
7.) Single leg RDL- 15 reps each side
