Coach’s corner time... this week is about Movement and we’re breaking down the Air Squat. •
The air squat is the most functional movement we can do, it’s simply sitting down and standing up. This movement is also the foundation to a lot of other functional movements, such as weighted squats, thrusters, wallballs, etc. There are a lot of key points of performance for proper movement in the air squat. There are just some workouts that gut check you. You go in with a plan, which falls apart quickly. You know you’re not going to do as well as you thought. Guess what!? You don’t get to quite! Those are the workouts that you need to do, need to finish, as strong as you can, because those are what will make you a better athlete and human.
