Hey, guess what?! These bio markers were checked last week to ensure proper kidney functioning since the doc I consulted with thought my 160 grams of daily protein consumption was too high to allow for healthy kidneys... it appears that in a healthy individual, a “high protein” diet is completely safe 🤷🏼♀️ not only safe, but necessary for the adaptation I strive for with the imposed training demands I enjoy to place on myself 🤗
Moral of the story: blanket statements or end all be all claims relative to nutrition appear to come from a lack of understanding (I.e. a high protein diet is bad for your kidneys). Do you’re (objective) research. Or, consult with someone who does 👌🏼 Side note: my glucose was 97 last I checked which is when I was “paleo.” Insteresting it’s lower now with an exponentially greater carbohydrate consumption 🤔 dietary fats or carbs do not necessarily alter blood levels. Stop depriving yourself of the essentials.
