When your home Girl calls u up for 6am coffee! This is how she likes to do it. Let’s do the Team WOD! Synchro OHS, dumbbell press, and a whole lot of running. As much as I hate to run the OHS was murder on My shoulders. Probably because of the day before. But I had fun. The best part is those little breathless pep talks we have during a hard one like this. Find a friend and push each other to the limit. I’m so glad I found mine!! It’s the best way to WOD!!

Guys... last night I cried in the bathroom immediately after the workout. I struggled with the movements more than I should have and I felt defeated. I haven't felt myself for a few weeks and last night was the tipping point. I cried again tonight while venting to @lalaith13 who thankfully reminded me that we will have bad nights, maybe even bad weeks. Sometimes we need to take step back to move forward but some days this is harder to accept than others.. I'm not sure why I haven't felt myself lately but I'm doing my best to continue to show up and put in as much work as I can. I needed tonight's workout, it felt good and I did NOT cry after!! Thank you, Alex for letting me vent and putting things into perspective. Work up to 80% of your estimated current 1RM.
Do 5 sets of 2 reps with a 2 second pause in the bottom position. Maintain tension throughout. Don’t relax in the bottom position. ▪️
