Made 90kg and got under 92.5 three times but kept losing it forward. I was so determined to save that last one. I don't have it yet but I know it's not a strength issue. I will nail it soon....

Coming off 15 hours of transit yesterday, 9.5 hours on a plane and 2.5 hours sleep I was pretty pumped to get back into training.
Safe to say that this completely crushed me. Probably my worst attempt at cardio in a while, but damn it felt good to move ❀️ Holidays are officially over - now it's time to fucking WORK πŸ™Œ

Urgh. I SUCK at the Split Jerk. Probably my LEAST favourite movement in CrossFit 😀 Nearly skipped this when it came up on @thetrainingplan but I know I need to work on the things I suck at if I want to excel.

BROKEN // That workout that absolutely crushes you.
This is me, feeling absolutely defeated after a workout that threatened to break me mentally (& physically) from the get go. That workout when you are 2 out of 10 rounds in and you already want to stop. That workout where you are just battling with your own head for twenty long minutes.
It wasn't anything flashy, just a 20 minute EMOM alternating between rowing calories (15) and HSPU (10) which looked really easy on paper.
Except, Im no good at those two movements. And it broke me.
It wasn't until later that day did I realise that I had done the men's calories on the rower (15) instead of the Women's (12) πŸ˜‚

Glad to see the back of that one - but happy I managed to fight myself and finish it as well πŸ™Œ
Just another step in the journey. .

I always get really nervous when I post lifts on Instagram - let alone lifts that I KNOW are not technically sound. BUT I do think that there is merit and strength in safely saving a lift that is not technically perfect, and even more so when it results in a PR.
Happy to save this one & call it a day. Even more happy to catch the left shoulder instability on camera. Always work to do. Always room to improve. Always happy. Never satisfied πŸ‘Œ

I've been stuck in bed vomitting my guts out since 8pm Saturday night, with full body fevers, aches, pains, weakness, headaches - you name it! I haven't eaten a solid meal in over 3 days 🀒

Yesterday was the first day I felt strong enough to even leave my bed!
I feel well enough today to start training again so just eased back into things with some moderate back squats - it felt SO good just to MOVE 😍

Laying around for 4 days made me realise how much I take for granted when it comes to fitness & wellness.
