Today's #libbycraftphotochallenge prompt is: Who or what inspired you to start knitting / crocheting?
For me, it was my lovely husband. (he doesn't like to be on social media, so here's the only picture of 'him' I can share. Lol)
When we started courting I was so busy with life, working, volunteering as a full time bible educator, etc that I didn't have a hobby. Hubby said I needed a hobby for some down time. So I picked up knitting and he started crocheting! It was something we could do together. Then just two to three months after we married in 2013 I became so poorly I couldn't get out of bed or get dressed without hubby helping me. Crafting helped me to cope and feel like I could still accomplish something! Then hubby taught me to crochet. I also went onto sewing, and started to get orders for my makes. I'm so grateful to my hubby, not just for inspiring me, but for so many reasons 😘💕
