Today's #soundtrack Both Parts
Hot Rats (1969)
Creedence Clearwater Revival
Cosmo's Factory (1970)
Zappa's second solo record. Mostly instrumental, and darn good... But again, I am left thinking how cool this list would be if he had to choose the best possible example of an artist's work rather than just adding all the good records someone made. This album does have "Willie the Pimp," though.
The same with CCR, I think the previous two albums were more than enough to extoll the virtues of Fogerty & Co. This album is good, but not necessarily at the same classic level of the others in terms of hits and songs everyone recognizes. Though from a deep cuts perspective its probably better.
