Reflecting on my mom and the feeling of safety and confidence she gave me. Yesterday I took @dawnbreezeart's class Creativity=Capital where we unearthed and reflected upon how we censor ourselves and our creativity. The toolbox we left with included our quality of integrity cards, a series of qualities written in the form of positive affirmations aka the stuff your mom says (at least in an ideal world. My mom died when I was young which is lousy as hell but allows her to be a fucking saint). So thank you mom, for being amazing and being the source of all the good things I say to myself. Today I hope you all honor your inner child, mother your inner creative, make someone breakfast or enjoy a breakfast made for you. Here's to eggs and self love!
