I spend many blood, sweat and tear hours in this place. It’s not the glorious social media post people enjoy seeing...this is the hard middle stuff.
I run the business side of my sister’s restaurant (soon to be plural) .... it kind of became my passion project when my brother-in-law got ill. They had a need and I had a skill set that matched.
I feel like I honor Brian here because his spirit is alive in the energy of this place. But let me tell you, restaurants are hard work. I had no idea what went into them as a patron.
For me, this falls into the category of gratifying exhaustion though. I know I’m making a difference here...and keeping his legacy alive.
