Left was about 3-4 years ago. I was training but not as seriously, and not for aesthetics. Simply just to be faster and stronger on the volleyball court. (Lots of shoulder mobility work for a quicker swing, and leg work for a higher vertical).
Right was last week. It's been over 2.5 years since I graduated and last played volleyball. I've been bodybuilding for -going on 3 years- now and growth has been the goal.
Everything takes time. Stay patient and don't be afraid to train in a different way than you're used to. Different styles of training can be beneficial for different goals.
