Sorry it’s been a few days since I posted anything. While I did enjoy my time in Orlando (hence the only pair of ears I would actually buy) I came back to being out of work for a bit while things are repaired. There is also been quite a few things in the cosplay world (followers, photographers, body types, etc) that have made me upset as well as put me more in depression mode. Even though I am not in my normal mood I have been trying to work on things which I have been posting to Patreon as well as cleaning, selling things, and of course gearing up for one of the few things that is keeping me going: Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. #womenofcosplay#depression#cosplayersofinstagram#plussizecosplay#curvycosplayer#followme#redhead#sallyears#disneytrip#cosplayproblems#noncosplay
My last cosplay for this year!! (Since I have like no money, I’ll probs just ask for most elements on Christmas/my birthday😅) Can’t wait to be my precious Lance💙
How many patterns does it take to make an Eternal Sailor Venus costume? Tl;dr which do I want to use as the leotard base?
When I made Sailor Venus 5 years ago, the McCall's Yaya han and Simplicity pattern (not pictured) didn't exist so I used the green pepper pattern for the leotard and skirt, McCall's school outfit for the collar, and made up the rest.
I am so disappointed the Yaya Han pattern doesn't include the hip rolls or the sailor collar. And it has 3 seams in the leotard (versus 1 in the green pepper). And while the not pictured simplicity pattern looks like it covers everything, it's actually a sundress and jacket and is the worst.
