I GOT BLONDIE!
Today I got a 2-for-1, not only did I get BLONDIE, the 4th of the "homeless Corona cats", but I drop trapped MOON along with her. MOON is a feral mama cat, I rescued her daughter POLLY THE TORTIE KITTEN in February. No more babies for MOON as she will be TNR'd. I will let BLONDIE calm down some before transferring her into a crate tomorrow. She was thrown out of the only home she ever knew in April 2016 along with OZMA, SMALLS, MISTY and a few other cats. All have had varying degrees of shyness. She may be a project for me, but I've been planning on getting her since I first saw her in January. She is a beautiful dilute tortie and this video doesn't do her justice. I am hoping she will re-socialize quickly.
She is supposedly fixed already, so a trip to a private vet for vaccines, tests, and deworming will be necessary. Instead of sponsors for her and some other rescues I have planned for the next two weeks, I just want to mention that today is the last day of my "Rescue A Cat Today" T-Shirt fundraiser. If you would like a shirt or to make a donation please go to:
All proceeds go towards RICHIE, BLONDIE, every other cat I've rescued recently and the rest will go towards my monthly lease for the new recovery space. Thank you all for making it a success!
