This workout was part of our cardio & core workout. Steve is easily busting out reps of 20 with that 36 kg bell!!! Super strong. .

His hard work is always obvious by the huge sweat puddle on his mat! He has worked hard on his hip mobility which has paid off in a deeper squat, as well as his lower body strength has improved ten fold (even if our lower body circuit is still his least favourite... 😎😎😃🤣).

But in all seriousness, don’t get too caught up in the details when working on your best self

Exercise is not about being perfect. It’s not about having the perfect workout outfit, or a fancy gym, or brand new sneakers, or even new weights (check out my vintage weights in this vid). It’s NOT about having everything. Its not about having more time than others or having some sort of mood or self-discipline either. It’s not even about wanting to change your body (there is nothing wrong with healthy goals, but if looks is your only motivation you will have an incredibly hard time following through). Because at the core, CHOOSING to live an active life is about valuing your health. It’s about no longer telling yourself that you’re not a priority. It’s about believing you are WORTH IT and loving your body enough to take care of it. I know you are busy, maybe overwhelmed or going through tough things. We all are. But from now on MAKE time to get your self just a little stronger every day, even if it’s for only 10 minutes of the workouts from the programs I run. Then repeat it the next day and the next day. Then do it again. Make it a daily goal to increase your sweat time by a minute and then watch how the non-physical benefits of being active positively affect your MIND and then flow to other areas in your life. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Empower yourself by keeping promises to yourself, focusing on yourself and taking care of yourself 💕

2️⃣ Hanging bent knees on the chin up bar (floor modification shown) .
3️⃣ Side Plank Dipping hip Crunch .
4️⃣ Russian Twists with Tricep Extension (light weight) .
No weight? Then do it with out or find a large water bottle. .

I did 20-25 ropes on 1 arm, went into russian twists, then repeated. I went through this twice on one side, then switched. Repeat until you 💀 if you watch all the way through, you’ll see I added in some bicycle movement with my legs as well. Now THATS hard to do.

Perform this circuit 3-4x 💯

➡20 or 30 sec // Knee-ins Rows
➡20 or 30 sec // Overhead Crunch .
➡12 or 30 sec // Roll up Press
➡20 or 30 sec // Weighted Toe Reaches
.
Rest 60 sec between sets! .
Depending on your fitness level you can modify all of these by using no weight or juat getting as many reps as you can in 30 seconds! No shame in that and it is still effective, you will be progressing in no time! It is all relevant to each of your journey's and creates goals to reach for!! 😁

I performed this as a circuit twice:
1️⃣ Crunches with Legs Crossed- Perform 10 reps then cross legs the other way and perform 10 more reps.
2️⃣ Dead Bugs- these may not look like much but trust me the burn is real! Keep your back flat on the floor and concentrate. Perform 12 reps each side.
3️⃣ Bicycle Crunch Pulses- Perform 15 reps each side.
4️⃣ Jackknives- I’m not great at these haha but I’m working on em. Perform 10-12 reps.
