1956 Cooper T39 "Bobtail"
Historically important as the first rear engine race car leading to and dominating what is now Formula One, changing the face of racing forever. These little low powered rear engine British sports cars were even beating and outclassing the more powerful front engine Ferarri with superior grip and handling. After 1959, other racing car manufactures like Lotus and BRM took notice and followed suit.
39 were originally built and only 13 remain.
