What is Puerto Rican "sofrito," you ask? It's a delectable flavor bomb that you can use in almost everything savory-- from a traditional stewed chicken dish to pasta sauce to ground meat (whether vegetarian or not) for your weekly "Taco Tuesday" night, sofrito is an ingredient you'll need in your kitchen this fall! || Ingredients in our sofrito: cilantro, culantro, garlic, sazon, onion, bell peppers, cooking oil and water.
For a limited time, we (@cookingwithniss) plan to sell 25 [1 quart] size sofrito containers at $20.00 each. Once we have sold all 25 containers, we will report on how much money we have raised to donate to the Caribbean. Also, we will report on what organization we have donated to.

2) We will email you with next steps including VENMO payment (this will serve as your order confirmation)
3) First distribution date for 1st half of containers: Monday, October 9 (Indigenous Peoples' Day; also known as Columbus Day) | Second distibution date for 2nd half of containers: Monday, October 30. We will post pick-up locations (either in Silver Spring, MD area or DC) once confirmed.
