picking out squashes at the market this morning! 😄❤️ i am having a very low-key thanksgiving this year, and am feeling really great about that. as much as i am typically a go-go-go person, i’ve really been enjoying taking time to just be with myself lately; to nourish and restore. for whatever reasons, i’ve needed it, and it feels good to follow and feed that need.
i have noticed that i am strongly extroverted AND strongly introverted. i feel my best when i have a lot of social interactions (of the deep and meaningful sort 🙃❤️ - none of that surface-level shiz) balanced with alone time to read, write, run, relax. i am getting to know myself more all the time, but i am also learning that my needs, preferences, and priorities ebb and flow over time - what may feel true at one point can change later. so i don’t put myself in any boxes, and i make sure to check in with myself often.
holidays can be especially busy and stressful, often causing us to disconnect from ourselves and our needs. check in with yourself this week, and do some acts of self-care 😘✨ i am so thankful for all of you. xo
