I sense the dull, painful and very familiar ache when I think about how much I hurt you. ✨
I can recall so clearly all the times I viciously plot against you thinking I knew better. ✨
The days I fought against your innate guidance which always had my best interest.

The days I wouldn't nourish you, instead punish you with exercise and restriction. ✨
The days I judged you for feeling so deeply and numb you with recklessly distraction in an attempt to completely stop feeling altogether. ✨
The days I spent out of alignment, doing things to feel loved, only to feel empty. You stuck with me, didn't abandon me when I abandoned you. You held me up when I couldn't see the light.

Coming home to you has been a journey, resisting the desire to feel and to love you. My mind still craved separation as my soul desired connection. ✨
Coming home to you has allowed me to surrender, I've allowed you to make my decisions and trust the intuitive guidance that is divinely communicated despite my mind not knowing.

Coming home to you has allowed me to truly believe that everything is happened for me in perfect timing and every 'challenge' is created for me to experience my own resilience

Muscle building #vegan food. Delicious and low carb. 😋 only took 5 minutes to prepare. Chopped 2 organic tomatoes, I then use one cup frozen organic green peas ( i just pour boiled water and let them sit in it for 5 minutes but not the tomatoes I throw them in after) drain and drop them into bowl- super easy. While that is happening I heat up #nongmo #soy #veggie ground round (half a pack)some onions and chili and then some guacamole and hot sauce on top. Because Olivia and I don’t eat meat, dairy or gluten, we had a LOT of plant-based, gluten-free side dishes yesterday that were made in support of this. My older daughter, who will eat meat, actually forgot to serve herself turkey as there were so many delicious side-dishes! My mother-in-law loved the raw kale-persimmon-pomegrate salad with citrus dressing that I made and asked me to make it for our dinner together on Christmas Eve! And my own mom emailed me this morning to say that next year, she thought we shouldn’t do a whole turkey anymore, but just some turkey pieces, for those who wanted meat.
Aside from my deep understanding of plant-based food for vital health, I also appreciate a different side of education I received when getting my plant-based-nutrition certification. This side addressed the reality of the state of the planet, in response to the meat and dairy industries. These industries are so environmentally destructive, that the path (and often pain) associated with true acknowledgment of this destruction is often tangled and deep. I know, as I avoided facing this reality for most of my life. The understanding I now have is like a gift, finally, after many years of wanting to be here and for whatever reason- not being able to do it. It is hard to express how it feels for me, but it is for certain one of the most wonderful, freeing and powerful things I have ever experienced.
Anyway, I have to say...last night was wonderful for me because I saw the little glimpses of change of consciousness in our own family meal- a beautiful, seasonal, delicious raw kale salad becoming a “star” dish. A child forgetting to serve herself meat amongst the wonder of plant-based options. Tiny sparkly lights of change of consciousness. In honor of Dr. Sebi World Day here is his alkaline vegan nutritional guide. I've been doing well with eating completely vegan for the past couple weeks. I think my next trip to the grocery store I'm going to try buying only foods listed in Dr. Sebi's recommended food list, with a few exceptions. ½ copo sementes de linhaça (demolhar 8h)
½ copo grãos de aveia (demolhar 8h)
1 copo água
½ copo leite de côco caseiro
1 copo polpa de côco
1 copo tâmaras
1 cc raiz de gengibre ralada
3 sementes de cardamomo
pitada canela e baunilha em pó
Bater a linhaça com água na liquidificadora, adicionar os restantes ingredientes e bater até obter uma massa homogénea. Estender a massa sobre folha antiaderente, cortar em triângulos, decorar com sementes de sésamo e desidratar até ficarem crocantes (cerca de 12 horas).
