Basically just a #bussitopen lower day today.. squats sets of 4 and ended with a 290 double. Pause squats 4x5 @ 245lbs and then deadlifts 4x5 up to 295. 🦑⚡️🔥 Honestly wouldn’t have wanted to spend my day anywhere else. At @lightningfitness860 surrounded by motivating, passionate and SAVAGE individuals. I am a powerlifter and bodybuilder, but that is not all that I am. Don’t get me wrong, lifting is a huge part of my life. But it’s not the only part. I encourage everyone to have a hobby or interest outside of the gym because it exposes you to other aspects of life. Being so focused on your health and body has its drawbacks. It can prevent you from experiencing life with your friends and family. It can prevent you from expanding your worldview. It can leave you with very narrow minded opinions and values. -
Life is more fulfilling and fun when you can good off.

@zanes____world 3 week prep, 85lb deadlift pr, 3rd place
@bryan.parks375 10 week prep, 105lb deadlift pr, weighed 1lb over 181 so went into a stacked 198 class otherwise would've won 1st
Words cant describe how proud I am of these fucks.
They put in the work and it showed, the meet itself was poorly ran, and a shit show.
I wouldn't reccomend signing up for this meet unless you're cool with inconsistent judging / ramping, hitching/ tng bench allowed for certain lifters, poor rest periods and shitty warmup equipment.
This has fueled a fire and I will avenge my comrades. Expect me next Saturday 💥
Also quick note: if you pull 3x+ bw and bench nearly 2x bw and sign up in the novice category you're a cuck

Just did a bunch of physical testing for the sheriff dept. 450 lbs beltless deadlifts for 4x7, then Pauses at 425 for 3x6. AFTER a bunch of push-ups, sit ups, a 300 meter sprint, and a mile and half run.
