@Regrann from @irondefiance - Busy and sick, busy and sick. Transferring over to a new clinic and dealing with a bout of food poisoning this week didn't stop me from hitting some of my best numbers to date at a bw of 165.

Massive new sq gym record at 465lbs. Last PR in sleeves was 410. Depth was solid and cranked out a new rep max of 405x3.

Bench was relatively solid. The numbers I hit are nothing new but the level of control and technique are something I haven't had even pre-injury. A solid paused 260 and a non shitty 280 TNG followed by paused 240x3.
Cueing my shoulders to stay externally rotated vs the standard retraction cue seems to have clicked and the uncontrollable elbow flare I used to have is now very much controllable.

Got this gem from one of the best to ever do it, Westside Elite @jcoker220 . Dirty Thirty! 10 reps each of skull crushers, pullovers, and presses straight for 3 sets. 90 reps total for finisher after DB presses and shoulders. Bye bye triceps! Mahalo bradda.

Today we knocked out some reverse Band bench presses in our #CompTrain class. The band unloads roughly 30# in the bottom letting us overload the triceps a bit. Good to throw these in occasionally to switch up the stimulus.

Worked up to 325 today band against hips from rack. Back is healing up quickly might be able to get after the open yet. Not a 100% but I'm definitely feeling better than I did. Today I hit 335 for a double on a back squat today. It was great for two reason. It was a PR for a double and the heaviest I've squatted in a year with no pain. I owe it to this machine right here. The new mind set and a calculated fury brings in the PRs. Paying closer attention to my ankle and hip mobility have helped me finally hit a 200kg squat, close stance and to a box. This makes me really curious what will happen when I put the wraps back on.

This was the first bench session where everything clicked. My form is still quite rough and my general posterior still needs hours upon hours of work BUT this is true progress.
Finally clicking how grip and wrist position will effect the lift. Proper placement on the heel of the hand, choking the life out of the bar and locking your arms out at the beginning to keep everything tight and rigid. Note the slight extension of the wrists at the bottom and knowing to flex, straighten and not compromise my forearm position during the concentric portion. Also note the pissy end cause I knew that I would be late for work if I waited to try 300 :p

Box Squats - 407 lb/185kg, 440lbs,200kg

1 Board Press - 265 lb/120.5kgx3, 290 lb/131.8kg
