Had the chance to taste through seven older bottles among a few others on this Wine Monday. The oldest was a 1966 Inglenook Cabernet and the 'youngest' of the older wines was a 1988 Guenoc Petite Sirah.
It was a fun evening just seeing how each bottle held up and appreciating them each on their own merits.
My standouts of the bunch were the 1971 Inglenook Charbono, the 1973 Burgess Cellars Cabernet and the 1970 Concannon Petite Sirah.
As always, a great tasting with a wonderful group of people.
After a very fun and late night out, my dear buddy Kimo recruited me for a 30 mile training ride this morning. Thanks for the ride Kimo! But even the horses and buggy were faster than me! 🤣 Oh, the coconut water at the fruit stand was amazingly fresh and much needed! Thank you! 🥥#bike#cycling#wheresroberta#concannon#saturday#fun
