Yes, I’m a Rochestarian and I’ve never had Rochester’s famous “Garbage Plate” with all types of meat, mac salad and meat sauce. Finally there’s a VEGAN version! Soooooo good! Buffalo tempeh, vegan “meat” sauce, mac salad and mashed yams😳 LOL #compostplate@redfernroc
I wouldn't say I was directly challenged to do this, but those who know me also know I love to try new things at least once. A new vegan friend expressed her views and knowledge on the topic intelligently and interestingly enough for me to want to try this for a week. So here it is, day 1/7 of understanding what it's like to eat vegan. First full meal was the Red Fern's take on a Rochester classic, the garbage plate. I had a salad with vegan dressing for lunch. Skipped breakfast per usual.
