In the left photo, I NEVER thought I would EVER have a flat tummy!!! Running long distances and doing 100000’s of sit-ups didn’t seem to shift the bulge. Restrictive diets and detoxes didn’t help, either - because I would soon land back at Square One after crashing off the bandwagon and diving into cheesecake. I eventually realised that these types of shortcuts and unsustainable practices offered ZERO LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS✖️ to the body and lifestyle I was striving to achieve!!!
Trust me when I say, especially from my own personal experiences, that 🌈THERE IS A WAY🌈 to transform your physique without any detriment to your physical or mental health!!!
The greatest differences between these two bodies - aside from 10kgs, tattoos and breast enhancements - is
in that exact order!!! If you take action without the knowledge, you will probably end up spinning you wheels like I once did.
💣KNOWLEDGE BOMB💣 It’s scientific fact that the ONLY WAY to decrease body fat is being in a ✅CALORIE DEFICIT✅ But this does NOT mean you should exercise yourself into the ground or follow a dangerously low caloric diet. There is simply no need IF you choose to take an active approach in learning what your food is made up of and making some ⭐️SENSIBLE CHANGES⭐️ to your overall lifestyle.

Looking ahead into the weekend with nothing but goals on my mind 👙🏆 I definitely don’t treat weekends the same as I used to 👌🏼 The old Lacey would have been counting down the seconds at her office desk on a Friday afternoon, begging for clock-off ⏰ Like many of us, I’m guilty for having only “lived” for the weekends - which at the time was really only going out partying 🎉 spending hundreds of bucks on booze 💰 getting rotten drunk 🥂 making a jerk of myself 🤬 and suffering a hangover all Sunday ☠️ Like... really??? Grinding through the ENTIRE work week only to use my free time doing THAT??? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I was essentially wasting 75% of my life so that I could spent the other 25% getting blotto 👏🏼 Well done, Lace!!! 😂 I eventually realised that my unhealthy, toxic lifestyle didn’t have a lot of purpose or benefit behind it✖️ I was merely “coasting” through life without much ambition - and this lack of self-fulfilment made me VERY unhappy!!! 👎🏼 So I made a promise to myself that I would stop living for the weekends ⭐️ One of the biggest steps in accomplishing this was turning my passion for fitness into a career - and because I love what I do so much, I NEVER feel like I am actually “working” ❤️ Every single day now feels like the weekend, yet I still experience purpose, motivation, productivity and meaning in everything that I do 🙌🏼 So believe me when I say that living for the weekend is overrated, because there is so much more to life than just counting down the seconds on a Friday - AND I’m sick of hearing people whinge about Mondays!! 🙉

What better way to start Thursday than with some positive affirmations and encouraging thoughts 💚 Here are a few of my favourites to get you feeling inspired to kick some serious butt today!!!!
