👁❤️ #Meditation was something I always thought was weird, like who the fuck meditates? 😂
I never did & it has been around for thousands of years but why has it been around for so long? It has major physical & mental benefits! I never believed it at first, it all sounded like bullshit so I decided to try it after doing research & it has made my quality of life 10000x better. I would recommend it, & just like physical exercise, the more often you work out, the more benefits you will see & the longer they will last. You might want to start after reading these benefits. 😁
The physical benefits:

What is meditation?
Meditation is not sitting there eyes closed doing nothing. It involves focusing on your breath, observing your mind wander, & returning your thought back to your breath. Just let your thoughts flow, don't cling on to or judge them & relax.
Imagine if more of us meditated regularly. An increase in mindfulness, happiness, care, & empathy for others would change the world. I seen it with myself & studies, meditation makes people connect better & feel more compassion towards them. There would be so much love & joy out there but instead we focus on drinking, drug use, & pharmaceuticals that kill us & don't need. Try it for yourself & since we haven't been taught how to meditate in our western culture it might be a little discouraging, but there are many helpful tips & people out there. Don't be scared to look up online or asking someone how to start!
