Thank you to all who came to our 8th Annual Plant Sale on Sunday! For those who couldn't make it, we still have some plant starts left! Come to the farm to purchase this Thursday, April 26th 2:00-5:30pm, or Saturday, April 28th, 10am-4pm (when we will also be opening up our farm for Spring Farm Tours with @sonomacountyfarmtrails)! #growyourown#supportlocalgrowers#communityfarming
As monsoons and rice season approaches, we cannot help but go knee deep in nostalgic memory of rice plantation workshops done in last few years!
We’re doing our bit to spread the word that the brilliant @farnhamcommunityfarm has just opened an online shop 💫 So now you can buy super local veg, organic meat, oil and more all from one place. Our very ethos at A Table Outside is connecting with those who grow our food and here in Surrey it feels like this way of thinking is really starting to gain momentum. Our little community of foodies is growing bigger by the day. Who’s on board?
Our boys LOVE raspberries. They can go through cartons and cartons of those things in a week. My girlfriend Mans taught me a little trick that if you take the little piece of paper out from the bottom of the package out, your raspberries will last a whole lot longer!
Thank you everyone for coming out to do some #soilsearching on Sunday - there’s never enough time to explore. I had fun and learned a ton myself along the way. Let’s do it again soon! #Repost@food2soil with @get_repost ・・・ #soilsearching was a lot of fun. Thanks @sd_urban_permaculture for showing us protozoas, ciliates (bad guys) and also a bloated nematode probably close to its nutrient cycling point. Thanks to all those who attended this kickstarting of our soil life education program. We are looking forward to bringing you more of these journeys into the wonders of soil.
