On May 19th I gave birth to Joey. 6 weeks after I went for a run and blew out my ankle. That's when I learned and realized how much my body has changed.
I was approached to join a challenge group to help me get back on track quickly. I laughed.
In my head I thought, I'm an athlete and a physical education teacher I know what to do! I don't need to spend money on something I can do on my own.
So I took this picture. Popped in my OLD insanity work out DVD and went in a mission to prove the world that I didn't need anyone but myself to get a body and mindset stronger than before baby.
Guess who I proved wrong? MYSELF!
Yes, you can find or create a workout all on your own. And YES you can go out and buy all the foods you need to have a balanced diet. But there is still something else you need to succeed and that is what I learned.
So I reached out to my coach and finally said YES, I'm all in! And man was my mind BLOWN. SHE HAD THE MISSING PUZZLE PIECE!
Ever since I signed up I turn to a group of people who lift me higher, make me want to be better and I know that I sweat 💦 for them! Imagine having a bigger reason for why you work out each day?!?! That's what these groups are all about! Accountability and support! Guess what it makes you work a fingernail more each day!
So this picture represents myself and that smile on it proves that I'm not really sure what was going to happen, it also shows the progress I have made in such a short period of time.
So imagine if you had a team cheering you on, every single MINUTE of the day, not just the hour you are at the gym. And imagine how good it feels when you hit that dream goal.
