I got a call from my therapist last week that I needed to come in for a follow up because I hadn't been there since January. Woops. I'm cured! Just kidding. I walk in, sit down and he says, "So, what's new? How's painting going?" As of January it had only been about 3 or 4 months since I had started painting again after a decade long hiatus, and left my job to pursue my art full time. I tell him that I have been great, have been painting almost every day, have shows booked through much of 2018, have shipped work nationally and internationally, am working with designers, have been asked to collaborate on various projects, and am booked with commissions on a regular basis. He just sat there smiling. I thanked him because talking to him made me realize I COULD leave my sales job (@jordstone had a lot to do with that too 😍💋) and make my dream a reality. It's amazing how much can happen in 8 months.

Side note: Great 80's flick but not my favorite. Goonies will always hold that title with Can't Buy Me Love as a close second. They just don't make them like that anymore, sigh. What was your fav?
