Do y'all remember when we were younger, and our metabolisms were on FIYAH, and we could eat whatever we wanted, and joked about how life would suck when our metabolism slowed down?? That was me 🙋🏿♀️ I had the fast metabolism, and when you pair that with basketball and track, I looked pretty good!! I didn't really watch what I ate, or worked out at a gym outside of practice.
Here I am, about to celebrate another year of life soon, and my metabolism is NOT the same, even though I tried to eat like it was! I'm STILL learning how to treat my body now, and ensure that I'm developing healthy habits that I can pass on to Arianna; good nutrition being one of those habits. It's not always easy to do on our own, especially with all the information out there- talk about overwhelming (but also interesting being able to see others' opinions on things)!! Thankfully, I won't have to do this all by myself pretty soon!! 😁
