I couldn't help myself. Only 1,000 of these have been pressed so I'm gonna claim it was for investment purposes... I could say "all I want for Christmas is JEW" but it's not as effective with it being a Wham cover and not Mariah. I don't need to justify myself, do I? T'is the season. #nowplaying Jimmy Eat World // Last Christmas 7"
Day 13 of the #almightydecember challenge - An album you want to see performed from start to finish - Don't Panic! It's Longer Now by All Time Low - My opinion is this is the best Album ATL has produced and is the album (well the non-longer version) that got me into this band. Every song is just filled with passion and energy that could convey any emotion they tackled. And the bonus acoustic tracks were really well done at being covers of their hit songs and still standing out from the original. An album i think deserves to have a setlist dedicated to the whole track list.
As of in previous records in Memorial we find RC introducing the listener with a mellow and soft breeze of a song called 'Memoriam' before getting right down to it in their heavy attitude, they've got so well-known for. 'Deficit' which features some of the heaviest melodies they've ever put out and appears to be the traditional played song at RC concerts. '1777' supposedly mourning the deaths of the American War of Independence however shows some more narrative sides, then melting into the somber and creating some sort of discomfort-ish 'Cheyenne', reaching its climax in 'Burial'. After the Burial's over we realize that there is better to come. After the War is won or lost both sides are reaching out to one another, trying to coexist - to me that's the sense in 'Ethel' my personal favorite. After they toolk the bun with 'Lebaron' we find solace with the everlasting title track. A soft and thoughtful guitar melody which is embedding the icy vocals of labelmate @cchelseawwolfe is closing the album. Memorial is the first concept album about death and all its consequences. RC tried hard to create certain story lines that they can describe along with their sounds. In its entirety Memorial is definitely an album worth listening. If it's their best I cannot say up to now - what I can say is that it's among their best. What's your opinion on Memorial?
Death Of Lovers ~ The Acrobat 2017 | Dais Records Red, ltd to 200 ⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️ Been waiting a while for DOL to release a full length. Perhaps not as dark as their debut EP, but a fantastic listen nonetheless. #deathoflovers#daisrecords

Oh, fandabbydozy! I’ve just scored this for $10! A 10” single from California’s Sleepy Sun: ‘Sandstorm Woman’. This is a track from their 2010 album ‘Fever’. For the uninitiated, if you fancy a sound that is a lovely blend of Jane’s Addiction, Mercury Rev and The Black Angels, check out anything by Sleepy Sun. A great band that really should be superstars. #sleepysun#sandstormwoman#psychrock#spacerock#vinyl#vinyligclub#vinyljunkie#colouredvinyl
