Doing mental acrobatics to take my brain to my happy+zen place 🙏 There are some days when the noise of constant TV + social media can just be soul-defeaning!
Just a few minutes ago, I felt my anxiety/stress levels rise from watching a shouty drama show on TV. Has anybody else ever experienced that? (I know it sounds silly, but I can't help it! My brain starts pounding & my heartbeat gets really fast & I get in a really bad mood. Obviously I'm not much of a TV person 😂📺)
I try to meditate or just do breathing exercises whenever I'm stressed by external stimuli like these - but I gotta admit... it's hard to concentrate with all the TV in the background 😓
