Dear Mr. Blue Bird PART 4
I set the paper down and got back to sketching. "You're a really good artist." I heard from behind me.
I jumped a mile high as Devan took a seat next to me. "Um, thanks." I responded quickly and went back to drawing. "Look, I want to apologize for being so rude the past couple of days. Can we start over?" He sounded genuine.
I just looked at him and arched my eyebrow. "Hi, I'm Devan." He said and I just gave a small smile and laughed. "It's very nice to meet you Devan, I'm Allison." We shook hands. "So, now that we got that out of the way, what are we going to do for our art project?" "Well let's see, we have to do our own twist on a classic piece of art so I was thinking, maybe using our faces as the canvases." I thought for a moment. "That's not a bad idea, maybe something like Van Gogh's starry night. Having it on our faces could symbolize the imagination of the artist. We could tell his life story!" I just started rambling on and on about all of these ideas. Devan was just staring at me with a smile on his face. "I'm sorry, sometimes I just get really excited and just ramble." I said looking down at my lap as I felt a blush creep to my cheeks.
He just laughed a little. "It's ok, a lot of good ideas come from rambling." CONTINUED IN COMMENTS
