Brittany graduated from #AmericanUniversity Washington #CollegeofLaw (AUWCL) in 2012. Brittany is an attorney and educator in the Greater Washington, Dc area. Her moves were shown as a student at #AUWCL when she received the highest grade designation at the Alexandria Public Defender Externship, CriminalDefense Theory and Practice, and #Criminal Justice Clinic – Defense; she received many awards including the Black Women’s Bar Association of Suburban Maryland’s Book Scholarship, the J. Franklyn Bourne Scholarship, the Mooers Trophy Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy, and the Peter M. Cicchino Public Service Award; competed at 4 national competitions with the Mock Trial Honor Society (MTHS) receiving individual awards for “Best Advocate” and “Perfect Score;” and acted as the Managing Director of the MTHS, Staff Writer for the American Jurist, Community Service Chair for the #BlackLawStudentsAssociation, and a Teaching Fellow for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project.
