When I realized that I was entirely up to me, is when my goals started becoming a reality. Your health, ambitions, life is no longer up to your parents, teachers, coaches, friends, or society. It’s on YOU! So if you want to be healthier, you make that choice. If you want that job, you go after it. If you want those Nikes, you save and go buy them. Today marks DAY ONE of my new program.. and I'm ALREADY loving it.

I just ate my first meal and I'm SO full (which I actually love).

But it's not gross full.. it's full like I just gave my body ALL the nutrients. 😜 Which I did.

My first meal: grapes, chicken, carrots, and 1/2 sweet potato with grass fed butter. 😍

8/80 is complete!
Today was similar to last week, except we used heavier weighrs/resistance and did 3x10 instead of 2x15.
I loved being pushed and NSV: did all the pushup leg lifts on my toes! Last week I could only do 3 each round!
So proud of myself today.

Here’s to a fresh new week people! 💕 Remember to listen to your body and mind, and take care of yourself every single day this week! Last night I went to bed at 11:30 and thought about setting an alarm for 6:00 a.m. to start my week with an early workout. But I chose to forgo that idea in order to ensure that I would get 7+ hours of sleep instead. I was very active all day yesterday, so I felt that my body really needed to rest and recover last night and this morning! ✨

I’ve also been starting most mornings with an hour completely to myself to make a simple breakfast, have green tea, and do a bit of reading. This allows my body and mind to gradually wake up without throwing myself into my day 😊 I’m happy to be starting a new week with health and wellness in mind! (And yes I am a Taurus 😉 Anyone else?! Birthday is May 2nd!)

Early Monday workout ✔️✔️ I have a super busy week with school and clinical and exams and check offs. The key to staying healthy during weeks like this is to prioritize even if that means getting up while everyone else is asleep. Get sleep, eat well, prioritize things and people in your life and you will set yourself up for success!! Plus who doesn’t want to have things crossed off their to do list by 9am? All I have to offer for today is my dinner (and part of my prep-kinda). Sautéed peppers with seasoned ground turkey and rice with two eggs. I keep the ground turkey and rice in the fridge and heat it up as needed. Usually pair something with it or put some of the rice in soup.
