Day 21 of #miymarch18: Working on a #colettepatterns Myrna with podcasts going. Lately I’ve been on a science nerd kick and bingeing @ologies and Science Vs. More on the topic of #sewing, Dressed: The History of Fashion is great so far.
It's done and all the buttons and buttonholes are done! This was a labor of love and I hope it fits well. I added about 2 inches in length to the body and an inch of length to the sleeves (but I also added to the height of the sleeve cap because the pattern had them super shallow and that was not going to fit him) I used the @colettepatterns#colettenegroni#negronishirt version 1. It came together well and the instructions were easy to follow everywhere EXCEPT the flat felled seam sleeves, i could not figure out what they were trying to get me to do for the curved flat felled seam and had to google it. But otherwise it was pretty good. #sewing#sewingpatterns#sewingpattern#sewingproject#seamwork#seamworkmag#colettepatterns#handmadewardrobe
Decided to layer my #colettemyrna as I really, really wanted to wear it! Worked out great for today. I got another one of these on my sewing table right now! Pattern is by @colettepatterns and fabric came from my @sewhayleyjane subscription box.
