💜 BLAKE LIVELY, NOW NAMED AGNES IS SAFE! 💜
This old gal is surprisingly sweet despite her epic grumpy face. Agnes was trapped and brought to @acctphilly to be spayed before being returned to her outdoor community cat colony. However shelter vet staff found that she was underweight, missing many teeth, and has multiple mammary masses that are assumed to be cancerous. Because she is obviously not thriving on the streets, the ACCT Philly staff intaked her and diligently worked to find her hospice care placement so that her story didn’t end on the streets or in the shelter. That’s where COEL comes in! She’s now in a temporary foster home with Kelly where she’ll be vetted and receive much needed TLC before she heads to her long term (probable) hospice care home with the Macioleks who broke her free from the shelter this morning. We’re so happy that she’ll spend the remainder of her life in a warm, loving home rather than outside during another cold Philly winter.
We’ll keep you posted on what Agnes’s diagnostics and biopsies tells us but in the meantime, you can make a tax-deductible donation towards her care at cityofelderlylove.org/donate!
