prog·ress // noun // ˈpräɡres/
1.) forward or onward movement toward a destination.
How are you making progress towards your goals?
I’ve been in Florida the past two weeks for a wedding and family trip. When I was fighting jet lag, I found myself having trouble sleeping so I used that time reflect on where I’m at and where I want to be. The idea of “making progress” can be intimidating and what’s even worse is the feeling of a lack of progress causes anxiety in most. This feeling stands in the way of progress. The stress of I’m not doing enough or I’m not growing quickly enough or I’m not making enough strides towards my goals can be enough to turn ambition to ambivalence, then ambivalence into apathy. DON’T LET THIS BE YOU. Use these feelings of not doing quite enough as fuel to do more. Be a doer, not a thinker, planner, or dreamer only! Get after it and hustle hard! It’s the only path to a legacy of success.
