The perfect road trip snack: homemade Lara Bars! 😋 My husband & I love road trips together (belting out to some #tswift & playing the question game 😜). But something about sitting in a car for hours makes me want to snack snack snack. Packing healthy ones is key! 🔑 Thankful for these bad boys keeping us company on the trip to Florida. .
👉🏻 LARA BARS: - 2 C. @bluediamond Almonds (roasted or raw- they each have great different flavors!) - 1/2 C. Pitted Dates (don't buy pre-pitted. Whole dates are way juicer 💦) - 5 Tbsp. Organic Cocoa Powder (or @navitasorganics Cocao!) - 3 Tbsp. P2B powder (great peanut butter option without the fatty oil)
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Vanilla
- Optional add-ins: Chocolate chips, shredded Coconut, Cocao Nibs
👉🏻 Mix Almonds in food processor. Add dates and mix until blended. Add rest of dry ingredients. Add Vanilla. *Slowly* add some water, while continuing to blend. It will stick together. Remove and form bars, or balls! (Try not to eat it all with a spoon 😳)
