The Flash is having this soup everyday, that's why he is so fast!
Alkalising Soup made only from greeeeens!! Ingredients:
2 courgettes
2 yellow onions
1 cup spinach
1 cup kale
1 cup brocoli
1 leek
1/2 bunch parsley
Black pepper
Himalayan salt
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp spirulina

Method:
1: Slice yellow onions, courgettes and leek. Cut broccoli in florets, remove spinach and kale stems.

2: Sauté the onions for a minute or two with 2tbsp of olive oil, add the leek and mix everything for another minute.

3: Add 6 cups of water, bring it to boil and add salt, black pepper, oregano and courgettes , cover with a lid and boil for 5 minutes. (you can add more water if you feel you need it)
4: Add the broccoli, boil for 2 minutes and remove from the flame.
5: Add spinach, kale and spirulina.
6: Put everything in a blender or use a hand blender and mix everything until smooth and creamy.

You can serve it with croutons and cashew sour cream. (recipe s coming soon.

“Clean” Chicken Wild Rice Soup!

I LOVE soup, but this is usually a heavy, calorie-loaded option.
Enjoy this freshened up version that I just tested out!
. - 2 uncooked chicken breasts
- 1/2 to 1 cup each chopped celery, carrots, broccoli, spinach, peas
- 5 cloves garlic - 1/2 cup chopped onion -1/2 cup rinsed black beans - 1 cup quinoa
-1/2 cup brown rice, 1/2 cup wild rice
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth - 2 cups water
- 2 cups 1% milk or plain almond milk
- 1 T Butter or olive oil - 1/2 cup whole wheat flour - black pepper, red pepper flakes, 1 tsp thyme
* combine all but milk, flour and butter/olive oil. Cook on low 7 hours, or high 3-4 hours. In the last 1/2 hour remove chicken and shred, return to pot. In separate pot melt butter/warm oil on medium high. Add flour and stir in milk. Cook on low stirring constantly until thick and bubbly. Pour into slow cooker and stir all together. To make vegetarian substitute chicken for beans, and use veggie broth.

Cauliflower creamy soup... almost too good it feels bad. I’m trying a bunch of clean soups for an old client & dear friend. My goal is 10 clean, nutrient dense soups that are easy to swallow and not spicy. I’ll definitely share them as who doesn’t love a good soup.
Ingredients:
Mirepoix
3 cloves of garlic
2 heads cauliflower ( roasted)
3 small potatoes
1 cup of chicken broth
2 cups of water
3 sprigs of thyme
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup of coconut milk
Directions:
Preheat oven 425’F. Toss cauliflower florets with 1 tablespoon of olive oil & salt on a baking tray. Roast for 20-25 min. While cauliflower is roasting sauté mirepoix, garlic and thinly sliced potatoes. Add thyme. Cook for 3 min. Add in the vegetable/chicken broth and water and bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer until cauliflower has finished roasting. Add cauliflower. Cook for 3-5 min on low. Using a stick blender purée until smooth. Once it is all smooth add the coconut milk/cream for a rich, smooth, creamy taste. Idk if I'm the only weird person who craves soup.. but I do, a lot. Especially when the weather is cold and rainy like it was in ATL yesterday. So.. I made a big pot of ✨Golden Coconut Soup✨
This is golden soup because yep, you guessed it, Turmeric ⭐️ Which is why it's perfect to cure your Sunday (or Monday) scaries due to its mood boosting properties and so many other good benefits 🙌🏼

1 tbsp olive oil
3/4 of a Spanish onion, finely minced
2.5 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger paste
1/2 tbsp ground tumeric
1/3 tbsp ground paprika
Dash of red pepper flakes
1 cup chopped carrot (I used baby carrots since I had those on hand)
6 small red potatoes cut into quarters
2 cups organic vegetable broth
2 cups water
1 13.5 oz can coconut milk
Toppings: whole grain brown rice, jalapeño, cilantro, coconut shavings •

Add olive oil, onion, garlic and ginger to a pot and sauté until the onion is soft and becoming translucent. Add in the turmeric, paprika and red peppers and sauté for 1 minute more. Then add in the carrots & potatoes and sauté for 3-4 minutes longer. Add in the 2 cups vegetable broth & 2 cups water, place a lid on the pot and bring to a boil. Once brought to a boil, simmer on low for 10 minutes or until the potatoes have softened. When done simmering, add in the coconut milk and season with salt to taste. Put half of the finished soup in a blender, blend until smooth, then add back to the pot. Top with brown rice, cilantro, jalapeños, coconut shavings and more red peps 💃🏻

*if you have left overs, which you prob won't bc it's so yummy 😜keep the rice separate. It will soak up a lot of broth when kept in the fridge if mixed in*
