My friend and I discovered @kitavakitchen , a great spot that opened last November and serves delicious food without gluten, dairy, soy, corn, peanuts, refined sugar and seed oils! I loved my Cuban Bowl with avocado, kale slaw, cilantro-garlic mojo sauce, naturally sweet plantains, and beans. I got cauliflower rice instead of jasmine rice and added pulled pork shoulder. My friend had General Tso’s Chicken in crispy cassava flour breading, sweet and savory coconut amino hoisin sauce, roasted broccoli, green onion, sesame seeds and cauliflower rice. We shared the butternut squash hummus with yuca root chips. It was so tasty, filling and healthy! I can’t wait to bring J here!
