What do I do? I drink coffee. In bed. For like an hour and a half. It’s quiet, it’s meditative — it sounds a bit gratuitous for most, but it’s something I am so thankful to have the luxury of doing at this point in life (no daycare to rush to, no AM meetings across Atlanta...) and it’s my way of starting the day. I make a list of goals to achieve that day and work through them as best as I can, with the most time consuming one or start. I do get up, I do check social media, I sometimes start with emails first. I don’t wake up early, don’t do yoga (though that should probably start soon), and I don’t usually eat breakfast at a reasonable hour... but it works for me! I so appreciate my time to relax and start the day without the rush of the week to stress over.
