I am not okay with the systematic abuse and exploitation of even one single person, let alone an entire community of people. It has been brewing under the surface in small doses since season one, but it has become abundantly clear since the start of season three that the people or person in charge of running The 100 are more then okay with using, abusing, and exploiting whoever they need to to further their own agenda.
While it is clear that something needs to change, I’m not one who believes that the show should be canceled entirely. Countless crew members and actors who are not at fault would be out of a job, and that isn’t right or fair. I believe that we need to call out the one responsible. The one who is responsible for exploiting the entire lgbtq community with promotions of Lexa and Clexa for ratings and then tossing it aside once he had gotten the views he wanted. The one who bullies his actors to the point that they feel they have no choice but to leave. The one who tosses years of character development into the trash can in order to cover up their inability to further a story organically. And the one who constantly favors their white actors over the people of color he has at his disposal.
You’re right. Things can’t go on as they have been going. It’s not okay for this despicable behavior to be rewarded with renewal after renewal. But don’t blame anyone other then the one at fault.
I say the only thing to be done is to petition for the firing of Jason Rothenberg. So I borrowed this beautiful picture to help me sell my point. #firejasonrothenberg #the100 #elizataylor #clarkegirffin #lexa #alyciadebnamcarey #bellamyblake #bobmorley #rickywhittle #lincoln #jasonrothenberg #fuckyou
