Not all plants are made equal, but Consolida ajacis specifically is a great bee plant if you are looking for one
Formerly known as Delphinium ambiguum and commonly known as Larkspur is a good pollen plant for honeybees. "[Native to the] Mediterranean. Ornamental with finely-divided featherly leaves. Flower colours traditionally blue, but hybrids in shades of mauve, pink and white. The nectar in the long flower spur cannot be reached by honeybees - perhaps with a strong nectar flow? Pollen light brownish-yellow. The similar-looking Delphinium hybrids have the same beesplant value." (Johannsmeier, M. F. (2016). Beeplants of South Africa: Sources of Nectar, Pollen, Honeydew and Propolis for Honeybees)
Also known as Ridderspoor in Afrikaans; 飞燕草 in Chinese; Valse ridderspoor in Dutch; Tarhakukonkannus in Finnish; Dauphinelle des jardins in French; Esporinha in Portuguese; respectively.
