Believe it or not, such a "simple" exercise is been performed wrong all the time by people of all ages. Sometimes because they don't know exactly how to do it and sometimes because they're simply not strong enough.

Make sure you always understand an exercise before start doing it, have someone who knows it watching over you, otherwise record your self with a cellphone then try finding errors.

2nd DEADLIFT session for the week and we jumped from 70kg/155lbs x4 RPE 8.5 to 100kg/225lbs x1 RPE 8.5. Form looks way cleaner and more stable. He didn't even know the weight, until I told him once he competed the rep. @nikosfarfas

Monday's workout got me doing a dozen sets of block pulls and maybe a trillion singles from the floor at 140kg/315lbs for form practice. Spinal erectors are sore AF but at the same time feel great.

MONDAY DEADLIFT WORKOUT

@nikosfarfas hit 70KG/155LBS for 4 reps as a top set of his lower body workout. His form is pretty excellent if we take under consideration that this was the FIRST time he ever deadlifted.
_

Things to improve: Lat engagement before pulling and weight shifting from the toes to mid foot. Estimated 1Rm 90kg/200lbs. He'll be repping 100kg/220lbs in NO time.
_
Full workout was:
Stretch-Mobility and warm up
Front Squat: 30kg ×8, 35x5, 40 2×5, 45×5, 50×5
Deadlift: 40 3×4, 50×4, 70×4

Sumo or conventional??
_

After injuring my lower back on August 17', I decided to give conventional deadlifts a break and start training sumo (Sumo is much easier on the back). Since then, I've improved my hip mobility a lot and strengthened my glute medius but haven't really done any heavy deadlift work.
_
Now the thing is that: I can't get a perfect arch on my lower back when lifting sumo, causing some strain and burn on my lumbar. When lifting conventional everything feels better but I gotta work on my classic weakness just when the bar breaks the floor (knees cave in). I THINK I will go with the second one😂. _
One thing is for sure! No more mixed grip for me #HookGrip

Sure everyone has different goals and motivations but realistically, training is about discovering yourself even more. You will learn physical and mental control.
