#BBLBumBum was kicking my ass! No pun intended. It was exhausting, and bizarrely, I couldn't remember most of the routine. It was like I was doing it for the first time. 🙄
#BBLHighandTight was awesome, as always! I wore 1.5lb ankle weights today. They adjust to 2.5. My husband wanted me to get heavier ones because he thinks I will get bored of these lighter ones, and go and buy the heavier ones eventually anyway. I may. But right now I need to start small - so that I can increase, and because doing it without ankle weights was still very effective.
The last thing I wanted to talk about is the fact that I've been working out in shoes for Brazil Butt Lift. This probably doesn't seem odd to most, but (some of you who have followed me for a long time may remember) I haven't worn shoes to workout since I did #Cize Feb-March 2016. My feet always hurt in my shoes, and though I knew my weight was causing my aches and pains, I blamed the shoes. I looked for new shoes but was never satisfied, and I've been barefoot ever since. But the first time I did High and Tight, the band felt weird on my bare feet. So, I decided to try shoes, and now I wear them for all the workouts. It is easier to plank (particularly side plank) in shoes, and I have noticed other improvements. The best part is my feet don't hurt!!! It's been 75 pounds since I last wore shoes during a workout, and I guess that weight mattered.
