This is the dorkiest photo ever, but it's just before I ran 14km for charity so I love it.
What started out as ticking City 2 Surf off my bucket list ended up changing my training forever. I've played team sports with heaps of running my whole life but I've never been able to just "go for run". I used to think I was only good at repeat sprints and that I couldn't just set out and run a few kms. I now know that this was just a huge mental barrier for me, I've always been able to but it's only now that I've learned to be patient and find a rhythm I can stick to. I may not be the fastest and I may not "go for a run" regularly but I always know that if I want to, I'm more than capable. Here's a pic of today's short one 🏃♀️🏃♀️
