I still cannot quite believe these photos are me 😊 as I remember back to years of gym sponsorship - where you pay and don't actually go! Roll on a 2016 New Years resolution ... to get back to the gym, get fit, get healthy etc ... at my first workout with work friends Hannah and @hanfrostt they gave me 1kg weights for dumbbell punches, this resulted in rapid onset DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) where I struggled to lift my arms all afternoon. Putting the time in, perseverance, determination and exercise buddies are key to success.
I would like to say thank you to some key people in my health and fitness journey so far ... Thank you to my very supportive husband and kids - you are all amazing and I could not have done any of this without you 💕
Thank you too the Hannah's for getting me to the gym 🏋 and encouraging me to keep going - even when I did not want to go - great positive peer pressure.
Thank you to @gabrielle_deane who introduced me to the nutrition system that has truely been a game changer for me.
Thank you to my "2 week crew" (@nomez_nz @healthyrichliving @lilkiwilaura @atomiclegacy91 @emilylovejayne ) for showing me what is really possible with this nutrition system and some serious accountability.
Thank you to Terry @ Jetts for the circuit classes that have pushed me way out of my comfort zone and for the weights program that has given me muscles 💪
