I cut all of my hair off if that wasn't obvious already! It's back to pink too ๐Ÿ˜„ I'm so happy.

Today, I did the @nikkiblackketter high intensity leg workout (aka lunges on bulgarian split squats on lunges)... It sucked. My knees suck so I'm a huge baby when it comes to lunges but I powered through it!

It was:
Circuit 1 (Repeat 4 times)
* 10 reps of weighted bulgarian split squats per leg with 25lb plate
* 10 reps of unweighted Bulgarian split squats per leg
* 10 reps of leg extension as heavy as you can go

Circuit 2 (repeat 4 times)
*12 reps of leg press
*10 reps of dumbbell leg curls
4 x 10 of static lunges with Smith machine
2 x 30 unweighted walking lunges
At the end of it you will be dying okay byeeeeeee

Here is a NEW ENERGY SYSTEM #CIRCUIT that I recently put together, which specifically targets the body's anaerobic alactic system. This is the body's energy system that is called upon during quick and explosive activities that last up to 10 seconds.
This particular #Workout is designed to mimic the #Anaerobic demands of a #Football game; as far as the number of repeated bouts of intense exertion, the duration of those bouts, and the amount of rest time between each bout. I also programmed many of the movement patterns within this circuit to reflect the physical demands often called upon a #DefensiveBack position during a game.
This #Gridiron specific Energy System Circuit would be an awesome "gameday conditioning" option for any football #Athlete, OR anyone simply looking for a KICKASS conditioning workout! Give it a try some time!
