I was craving my favorite oats for breakfast! Since I didn't make them ahead of time I heated mine. So yummy!
Om Oats (From my favorite yoga program.) Makes 1 serving Total Time: 8hrs, 10min. Prep Time: 10min. Cooking Time: none
1/2c dry old-fashioned rolled oats 1dash sea salt (or Himalayan) 1/2t ground cinnamon (or cardamom) 1c unsweetened almond milk, divided use 3T unsweetened dried tart cherries (or raisins) 2T slivered raw almonds (or pecans/walnuts) 1T flaxseeds or chia seeds
1. Place oats, salt, cinnamon, and 1/2c almond milk in jar or bowl; mix well. Soak, covered in refrigerator overnight. 2. In the morning, add remaining 1/2c almond milk; mix well. 3. Sprinkle cherries, almonds, and flax or chia seeds over the top. Enjoy! . .
