I've been in love with theater since I was six years old and first started spending my weekday nights waiting for my turn to rehearse from the lumpy seats and sparse dressing rooms of old community theaters. Those theaters hold a special place in my heart, for sure, but nothing gives me that glowy feeling quite like seeing a show at The Fox.
Luckily for me, I married a real keeper who knows that it is entirely acceptable in my mind to make the 12-hour round-trip back to Georgia for a Saturday night musical. And that’s how I found myself with early birthday tickets for @aladdin this past weekend.
The show was good (particularly the Genie, the glittering costumes, and the insane sets). Taking in my first game at SunTrust Park (and watching the Braves clinch the NL East!) was great. And spending it all with friends (even when “it all” was sitting in ridiculous Atlanta traffic) was even better!
