I was a bit bummed this morning when I stepped on the scale. To be honest, I’ve slipped up a few times this week with my nutrition and yesterday was really bad. We had a pitch-in at lunch and I indulged a little and then last night we had a crazy evening and decided to order pizza. I really should have just ate something healthy after my lunch that day, but I decided to eat two slices of pizza and a breadstick. Needless to say, I was up a couple of pounds this morning. I am so close to my ultimate goal weight and doing that didn’t help.
HOWEVER, when I put these jeans in this morning, I was so excited. I was not able to wear these jeans at the beginning of the summer. I’ve been wearing them with ease the last month or two and today I noticed that they slipped on even easier and there was even enough room in the waist that I had to put a belt on! Whoo Hoo! Those non-scale victories are so much better than those scale victories sometimes. 😊
