Let's talk about food. 🐔 🍅
I get a lot of questions about what to eat or the best foods or if a certain food is okay to eat..
My answer is always the same.
Your nutrition is all about being sustainable first and foremost but catered to your goals as well. 👍
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter from an energy balance standpoint if you eat broccoli or McDonald's.. All that matters is the total amount of macronutrients/calories you're consuming!
Now it's certainly harder to overeat on broccoli than McDonald's but that's why I am not suggesting you binge on fast food. 😁
I do believe however that whether you're cutting or bulking or whatever, you can find a way to fit your favorite foods into your diet.
Take me for example, even though I am on a forever lean bulk, I actually prefer to split my preferences in half.
I consume mostly healthy, micronutrient dense foods and then throw in some junior chickens and pizza to make things easier and more enjoyable. 🍔
Sustainability is the most important factor when it comes to nutrition. You won't make any real progress from sticking to the PERFECT diet plan for ONE DAY!
