Guten Abend 😊 Ich habe es heute doch tatsächlich mal wieder geschafft, ein paar Bilder bei dem schönen Wetter in Berlin zu machen ✌🏼 Momentan dürften meine Tage wirklich gerne mehr als 24 Stunden haben, da wirklich sooo viel ansteht und man ja auch keins der 3 Beine des Stuhls vernachlässigen möchte ☝🏼 & da gehört so wie beispielsweise heute auch mal dazu, 2 Trainingseinheiten an einem Tag zu machen 😁

The Sheru Classic Expo was my first fitness expo event, my first bikini competition event that I participated in, and also the first time I got to meet my biggest inspiration @christianguzmanfitness .

Oh, the illusion of being shredded... it's a deceiving one. Funny thing is I was about 140 in this picture, just a few days out from my first show. Depleted, flat, and fatigued are just a few words to describe how I felt. Comparing this to an image of how I currently look, this definitely dwarfs my current physique (in image). Currently about 40 pounds heavier than this and I have managed to pack on some crazy size on the arms so far this offseason. Enjoying the fluff for these next 5 or so months, then it's time for the return of the aesthetics... be sure to stick around. ;)

Sometimes things consume our minds and don't allow us to do the things we want to do. This picture was taken during mondays leg session when I did NOT feel the best, my mind was NOT in the workout. I FAILED a deep squat with 130kg on my back and got STUCK under the bar. I was near to tears because of the things that were going on in my head but did I let that stop me? NO I set the weight back up on the rack took a deep breath and set myself under the bar. You will be amazed what you can do when you put your mind to something, the weight I had previously failed I managed to get two sets of 4 with and then went on to do a top set of 2 with 140kg
Moral of the story is always believe in yourself and do NOT UNDERESTIMATE YOURSELF

Had volume upper yesterday.
It was horrible.
My upper days are feeling RPE10 at the moment which make me want to kms. But I digress.
Video is back off set from Mondays squats @ 140kg.
Watching my squats over and all I can see is me good morning my squats. That means my posterior chain is taking over cause my weak little baby quads don't do anything. That's probably why @_jac_attack_ has me doing so much quad accessory.

BODY WEIGHT DIPS: 🔥

You want to lean your torso slightly forward to work more of your chest rather than your shoulders.

Slowly inhale on the way down, hold breath at bottom, exhale quickly on the way back to the top.

Flare your elbows out while doing the exercise.
.
You want your elbows to be close to a 90 degree angle at the bottom.
.
Do NOT go much further than that otherwise you risk injuring your shoulders.

My face when I found out that I had accidentally been paying for an amazon prime membership for the past 5 months without realizing. Tip of the day is to always check your bank statement fellas lmao... I'm currently sitting at a bodyweight of 87-89, which has really helped with gaining strength over the past 4 months. I can't stress enough how important a surplus of calories can affect your workouts. Being shredded can be fun as a short term goal, but realistically getting down to single digit bodyfat isn't attainable. Depending on your current state of course, I invite you to use the time now to gain strength and size, as realistically being in a deficit for prolonged periods of time will only slow your potential for gains as a younger lifter.

It's a common misconception that a 'bulk' is a time to eat as much as you can. Depending on your maintenance calorie intake, you should consume around 300-400 over your maintenence in order to be fuelled for your workouts and gain size. I'll check in tomorrow for a more in depth overview of calculating maintenance calories. Happy Tuesday fellas. 💪
